Enlightened Baby Shipping & Return Policy

At Enlightened Baby, your satisfaction is our priority. We strive to ensure every product meets the highest standards of quality. Below are the details of our shipping and returns policies:

Shipping:

  • We use USPS, UPS, or FedEx with tracking provided.
  • Orders typically ship within 7-10 business days and will ship same-day when possible.
  • We are not responsible for stolen, misplaced, or delayed packages due to carrier issues. Please notify us within 4 business days if a delivered package is not received.

Direct Manufacturer Shipping:
Some items may ship directly from the manufacturer for environmental efficiency and to ensure the freshest, newest products.

Same-Day Local Delivery:

  • Orders must be placed prior to 2 pm. Orders placed after will be delivered the next day.
  • Available within a 10-mile radius of our Austin store.
  • Orders must be placed during business hours:
    • Monday-Friday: 10 AM - 5 PM
    • Saturday-Sunday: 11 AM - 5 PM
  • We are closed on major holidays. If delivery cannot be fulfilled, it will be rescheduled or refunded.
  • Furniture items excluded.

Returns:

General Return Policy:

  • Unused, unwashed items in their original packaging (including shipping boxes for specific items like mattresses) may be returned within 30 days of purchase with a valid receipt.
  • Refunds are issued in the original payment method. For gifts, store credit will be provided.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Exchanges:

  • After 30 days, products are eligible for exchange only.
  • No returns or exchanges are allowed after 90 days or without a receipt.

Specific Product Return Policies:

  • Cloth Diapers: Must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging.
  • Non-Returnable Items:
    • Car seats, breast pumps/parts, and breastfeeding-related items
    • Sale or discontinued items
    • Assembled items or partial bundles
    • Custom or special-order items
    • Seasonal décor, apparel, or toys

Promotional Items:

  • If a promotional item was included in your purchase and is not returned, the value of the item will be deducted from your refund. Promotional items can only be returned with the original purchase.

Restocking Fees:

  • Items over $149 or large in nature are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • Car seat stroller adapters: 20% restocking fee plus return shipping costs.
  • If the item shows signs of use, damaged packaging, or has been washed, a restocking fee of up to 30% may apply.
  • Refunds may be denied if the item does not meet return guidelines.

Defective Products:

  • For defective items, we’re happy to assist in contacting the manufacturer for resolution.

Return Process:

  1. Complete the Return Authorization Form on our website.
  2. Allow up to 3 business days for a response. Additional information may be requested.
  3. Enlightened Baby will provide a return label for convenience; however, return shipping costs remain your responsibility.

Refund Processing:

  • Returns are processed within 14 business days of receiving the item. Refunds or store credits will then be issued.

Cancellations:

  • Orders may be canceled within 6 hours of placement (excluding same-day delivery).
  • Cancellations incur a 6% cancellation fee.
  • After 6 hours, the return policy applies.
