Meet the Sleep Sack

The Sleep Sack is an arms-out Sleep Sack for infants and toddlers. It's slim-fit shape and stretchy organic jersey cotton material are similar to the fit and feel of a swaddle to help ease the transition out of swaddling to arms-out sleeping. We recommend this product as baby's first Sleep Sack, after the swaddling newborn phase is over.

Previously named Jersey Sleep Sack; packaging may have either product name.

Materials

95% Organic Cotton / 5% Elastane

The Sleep Sack is made from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified organic cotton that is non-toxic and gentle on irritable skin. All ergoPouch fabrics are dyed with non-toxic water based dyes. ergoPouch Sleep Sacks are reviewed by the Eczema Association of Australasia (EAA) as a skin-friendly product.

Care

How to wash and dry your Sleep Sack

  • Gentle cold machine wash in mild detergent.
  • Do not soak or bleach.
  • Tumble Dry Low.
  • Warm Iron if required.
  • Do not dryclean.


    When cared for properly, this product will last several years and can be used for more than one baby. Our TOGs don't lose their warmth ratings over time, but a gentle fluff up in the dryer on a low setting helps maintain the fiber's loft, allowing air to circulate more effectively.
What TOG do I need?
Think of TOG as a rating of warmth. TOG (rhymes with ‘dog’) stands for ‘Thermal Overall Grade’ and is a simple measurement to tell you how thick and warm your baby's sleepwear is. Our lightweight option, 0.2 TOG is ultra thin and breathable, similar to that of a cotton t-shirt. Best for room temps 71*F+. Our 1.0 TOG has a cozy fleece-like lining for added warmth without bulk. Best for room temps 67-75*F. Our 2.5 TOG (for room temps 67-75*F) and 3.5 TOG (for room temps 53-65*F) are filled through a “quilt’ like process with thermal layers of organic cotton inside, and stitched securely in place to provide even, breathable warmth all night long

Sleep Sack (formerly known as the Jersey Sleep Sack)
Our Sleep Sack is a baby and toddler Sleep Sack designed for arms-out sleepers (usually from around 3 months of age). The Jersey Sleep Sack has a slim-fit, stretchy design similar to that of a swaddle and is recommended as baby's 'First Sleep Sack' after the swaddling phase is over. Please use your child's weight to find the most appropriate and safe size for them. A sleep sack should be well fitted around the neck and the armholes to avoid your baby slipping through. It should also be bell shaped in the bottom to allow for easy leg movement. Please do not size up to the next size until your child meets the weight requirement, for safety reasons.
