Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations:
Enlightened Baby strives to ensure that all of our products meet the highest standards of satisfaction.
If you would like to return non- defective products, you may return your unused, unwashed items, in original packaging (including shipping box when necessary, i.e. mattresses), with a valid receipt, within 30 days of purchase. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Refunds are issued in the same form of payment as the original purchase, unless a gift, in which case store credit will be issued. Shipping charges are not eligible for return.
After 30 days, products may be exchanged only. No returns or exchanges after 90 days or without receipt.
Cloth Diapers may be returned in unused, unwashed condition, in original, correct packaging- no exceptions.
Returns & exchanges are not permitted on shipping charges, car seats, breast pumps or parts, sale or discontinued items, assembled items, partial bundles or travel systems previously sold together, custom orders, special order items and holiday decor/apparel/toys.
If a promotional item was included on a purchase and IS NOT returned, the value of the promotional item will be deducted from the refund amount. Promotional items may only be returned with the original purchase or otherwise have no value individually.
Enlightened Baby will provide a return label for your convenience, in shipping back your items. This allows us to work with the carrier directly (as both the sender and receiver in this case) to recover a lost or damaged item.
Should there be a defect or product issue, we would be happy to assist you in contacting the manufacturer for a resolution.
All class registration fees are non-refundable and may not be transferred to other individuals. If you are unable to attend the event, or the event is cancelled, payment for the original class may be applied to a future scheduled event within 60 days.
If you wish to return for any of the above mentioned reasons, please complete the Return Authorization Form. Please expect up to 3 business days for a response; additional information may be required before a shipping label can be supplied.
All Items wishing to be returned, either large in nature or over $149 in monetary value will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
If the item shows signs of use or the packaging has been damaged or has excessive markings/tape, or soft goods have been washed, the item is subject to a restocking fee of up to 30%. The refund may be refused if the condition of the product does not meet our return guidelines. Return shipping will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Please note: it may take up to 14 business days for a return to be processed and a refund/store credit to be issued.
Orders may be cancelled within 6 hours of submitted order, unless it is a same day delivery order, in which case cancellations are not available and the return process is the relevant means of pursuit. 6 hours after order submission, the return process is the relevant means of pursuit. All order cancellations will incur a 6% cancellation fee.
We ship using the United States Postal Service, UPS or FedEx. We ship Priority in most cases, or first class, if within the weight limit. No signature is required at delivery, however a tracking number will be provided to you as soon as it is available. Please make sure someone is available to receive the package, if you are uncomfortable with it being left unattended in your absence. It may take up to 7 to 10 business days to process your order, depending on size, gift wrap, holidays and how fast our hands can move. When possible, we ship out on the same day. We assure you we are doing our absolute best to get your order out as quickly as possible and appreciate your every understanding of our tiny mom-run shop.
All returned and undeliverable packages will be billed for shipping (regardless of free shipping being previously met) and will not be shipped until shipping is paid. Enlightened Baby is not responsible for confirmed deliveries that have been stolen, misplaced, mis-delivered or for delays in delivery by USPS, UPS or FedEx due to weather or their own internal errors. We are, however, always happy to assist in providing any and all necessary information needed to help you recover these items from the carrier, including working with the carrier, as the sender. In the event a case must be opened, full cooperation on your part, with the carrier is required to reach a resolution. Notice MUST be give to Enlightened Baby, that a package was not received, though marked delivered, WITHIN 4 BUSINESS DAYS of the tracking indicating delivery; NO EXCEPTIONS. We are unable to open a case, without such notice in the required time.
We may choose to ship items direct from the manufacturer when this service is available; this allows fewer carbon emissions in ‘double-delivering’ a product to us and you, as well as ensuring you have the most recent version of an item, with the greatest amount of time before expiration (especially pertinent for car seats).
Same-Day Local Delivery is available to delivery addresses within a 7 mile radius of our store, located at 515 S. Congress Ave., Austin TX 78704. Some zip codes fall within the ‘grey area’ of both within the radius, and beyond. We will confirm availability of Same-Day delivery, for these zip codes, within 2 hours of receipt of the order. All orders with Same-Day Delivery selected must be placed within our retail store fronts normal, non holiday, business hours:

Enlightened Baby is closed annually on the following days:
New Years Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and December 25th & 26th. We may also close due to inclement weather or for inventory, as announced. Please call the store directly if you are unsure of same-day delivery availability: 512-766-2852.
Though we will make our best effort to fulfill all same-day delivery requests, Enlightened Baby is not responsible for any same day delivery requests that are unable to be fulfilled when details outlined above are not adhered to. Should a request be made during the circumstances outlined above, where delivery is unavailable, every attempt to contact the purchaser will be made. If no contact is made, delivery will be scheduled on the next available day or a refund will be issued, whichever Enlightened Baby feels is best.
